Cam Whitmore may not be playing for the Houston Rockets anymore, but he is still keeping a close eye on them.
While speaking with Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson, via Fullcourtpress, Whitmore talked about Kevin Durant joining the Rockets.
Like everyone else, he is impressed by Durant, but also ready to play against him in the new season.
“I mean Kevin Durant’s a fit but at the end of the day that calendar is marked when the day comes and so it’s gonna be a good game,” Whitmore said.

Whitmore spent his first two seasons in the league with the Rockets, averaging 10.8 points and 3.4 rebounds.
By the middle of his second season, it was becoming clear that the Rockets didn’t have space for him and were comfortable letting him go.
That is why he will be spending next season with the Wizards, which might be a better fit for him.
First of all, he will be able to play close to home because Whitmore is from Maryland.
But secondly, the Wizards are in a position where they can give Whitmore a lot of time on the court and more leadership opportunities.
Meanwhile, the Rockets’ roster has never been so stacked, with Durant running the show.
Expectations are very high for Houston in the new season, and anything short of great success will be a disappointment.
Everyone will be watching closely, and some people, like Whitmore, will be ready to play against them and see if they get the best of them.
