Winning a Super Bowl in the NFL is one of the greatest accomplishments in all of sports.
On the other hand, winning the NFL MVP award is one of the greatest singular accomplishments in sports.
Former Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton won the MVP award in 2015, but his team lost the Super Bowl to Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos that year.
Newton was recently asked on “First Take” if he would trade his MVP award for a Super Bowl.
“No…What’s more important? Impact or championships?…You’ve held your end of the bargain down,” Newton said on Thursday.
Stephen A. Smith: "Cam, if you could give back that league MVP for a Super Bowl championship, would you do it?"
Cam Newton: "No." ? pic.twitter.com/x9XspwR7kh

This is a very interesting thought.
Newton left a legendary mark as one of the greatest dual-threat quarterbacks in NFL history, and he also did his job well.
He also cited lesser-known Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks, such as Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson, and Nick Foles, in support of his argument.
Newton is more well-known than players such as Dilfer or Foles because of how good a player he was in his prime.
In that magical 2015 season, Newton led the Panthers to a 15-1 record.
He threw for 3,837 yards and 35 touchdowns and rushed for 636 yards and 10 touchdowns.
He has the most career rushing touchdowns for a quarterback in the history of the NFL (75).
His legacy and impact on the game are immense.
