The Philadelphia 76ers keep making moves.
With Caleb Martin set to test the free agent market, the Miami Heat were unable to retain one of their key postseason and rotation pieces.
Both parties were reportedly unable to work out a deal, thus opening up the door for Martin to join a fellow contender.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Martin will join the 76ers.

Martin is a battle-tested player who’s going to be an impactful contributor right away.
He was the Heat’s most consistent three-point shooter last season, and his ability to stretch the floor and play off the ball will come pretty handily for the Sixers.
Martin is a veteran who plays within his role and will bring in the Heat’s top-notch worth ethic and physicality with him.
He’s made great strides on the defensive end of the floor, and his playing style seems tailor-made for Nick Nurse’s system.
Notably, Martin may have had to settle with far less money than he would’ve wanted to.
He turned down a lucrative offer to stay with Pat Riley’s team, and no team was reportedly willing to make him the offer he was looking for.
The Heat were then unable to go back to their original proposal, so betting on himself may not have paid off.
Still, the details of the deal haven’t been disclosed yet, and he’ll have a better chance to win an NBA championship in the City of Brotherly Love now that Paul George has also decided to team up with Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey.
