On Monday night, the Seattle Mariners came into Fenway Park looking to open their series against the Boston Red Sox with a win.
Seattle busted out for 10 runs and sent the Red Sox to their fourth consecutive loss.
Leading the charge for the Mariners was star catcher Cal Raleigh.
The switch-hitting slugger hit two home runs, one from each side of the plate.
By the end of the game, Raleigh had become the first catcher to homer from both sides of the plate in the same game at Fenway Park.
After the game, Raleigh commented on his historic accomplishment and what it meant to him.

Raleigh first reflected on the last time he homered from both sides of the plate, recalling a game during his minor league career.
The star catcher also revealed something interesting, that some of his teammates weren’t even aware that he was a switch hitter.
Raleigh then commented on his accomplishment.
The Mariners catcher talked about growing up as a diehard Red Sox fan and understanding the history behind Fenway Park.
Raleigh said that it meant a lot to him to be able to accomplish a historic feat at Fenway.
Interestingly enough, in the other dugout was former Red Sox captain Jason Varitek, who won two World Series titles in Boston.
Varitek was also a switch-hitting catcher.
Raleigh recalled idolizing Varitek as he was growing up and wanting to emulate him, while also talking about what those Red Sox teams meant to him.
Raleigh also revealed that he had a signed jersey from Varitek himself.
