Although he is entering year 21 of his illustrious career, LeBron James is going to be the driving force behind the Los Angeles Lakers‘ title hopes for the 2023-24 season.
James was hampered by a foot injury in the 2022-23 campaign but was still able to lead the Lakers all the way to the Western Conference Finals where they were swept by the eventual champions the Denver Nuggets.
Despite such a poor ending to the year, Los Angeles is hopeful that James is able to maintain the elite level of play he’s shown since coming to the city a few years ago.

Scott brings up a great point that James’ longevity is what’s enabled him to stay productive for so long.
In this day and age, players are being rested throughout the regular season to preserve their bodies and if that trend continues then James should be at the top of the scoring list for eternity.
