The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have found their new offensive coordinator for 2025 and possibly beyond.
To replace former offensive coordinator Liam Coen, who is now the head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Bucs are promoting passing game coordinator Josh Grizzard, per NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero.
Grizzar, 34, previously spent seven years with the Miami Dolphins as an offensive assistant before joining the Tampa Bay coaching staff last offseason.

Over the last few seasons, the Bucs have had one of the best offenses in all of football.
With Grizzard as the passing game coordinator in 2024, Tampa finished third in total offense, third in passing offense, and fourth in scoring offense.
Quarterback Baker Mayfield turned in another Pro Bowl season and future Hall of Fame wide receiver Mike Evans eclipsed 1,000 yards receiving for the 11th consecutive season, which tied an NFL record that was held alone by Pro Football Hall of Famer Jerry Rice.
When teams lose offensive coordinators, the most logical move involves them promoting someone else from inside the building whether that is a position coach or another assistant.
In Tampa’s case, they went with Grizzard, a North Carolina native and a Yale graduate.
Time will tell whether or not this was the right move from head coach Todd Bowles and Co.
Judging by the facts of the team winning the NFC South again this past year and with the offense having the success that it’s having, Grizzard was a good option for how the team is moving along right now.
