Damian Lillard of the Milwaukee Bucks came to play on Thursday night.
During his first regular-season game with the Bucks, Lillard wowed everyone with a historic performance of 39 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists.
After the game, Antetokounmpo spoke to the press about Lillard’s first game.
“I think he was unbelievable today,” Antetokounmpo said, according to a video shared by HoopsHype on Twitter.
He added that Lillard’s dominant performance “says a lot about him and a lot about his character and a lot about what he brings to the table.”

Antetokounmpo sounds very happy with his team’s newest star.
Lillard’s 39 points were a record for the most points in a player’s first game with the Bucks, and it proved that Dame Time has officially begun in Milwaukee.
Although he got off to a slow start, Lillard was soon firing on all cylinders and providing so much for the team.
While he was scoring left and right, Lillard was also opening up many possibilities for other players, including Antetokounmpo.
This is exactly what Antetokounmpo wanted to see from Lillard.
During the summer, the two-time MVP raised eyebrows by suggesting that he could leave the Bucks in the future if they weren’t as committed to winning as he is.
Lillard is definitely as committed as Antetokounmpo, and that is partially why he decided to sign a new deal with the team.
However, Lillard will need to continue shooting well and will have to improve his defensive skills too.
Although he shot very well, Lillard looked like a defensive liability at times, and the Bucks only won by a single point.
Even so, Antetokounmpo finally has the superstar teammate he has been waiting for, and he seems excited for what comes next.
