The Milwaukee Bucks are going to attempt to make next season one of their best ever.
It seems that some people have forgotten but the team is only a couple of seasons removed from the huge Finals victory over the Phoenix Suns.
And they still have most of the players that earned them that ring – including generational talent Giannis Antetokounmpo.
So they know they are very close to true greatness yet again.
In order to claim another championship, the team will need players to be performing at their best.
They will also need a stellar coaching staff.
Milwaukee Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer is adding DeMarre Carroll — one of his former players — to his coaching staff, league sources tell @YahooSports.

Their group of coaches just got a bit better.
It is being reported that head coach Mike Budenholzer is adding former NBA player DeMarre Carroll to the coaching staff.
Carroll played for a number of teams during his time in the league but is now ready to start a new chapter of his career.
He has proven that he works well with Budenholzer so it’ll be exciting to see what the two can create together.
Carroll Returns
Carroll was the 27th overall pick in 2009 and spent 11 seasons in the NBA.
He played for 578 games and had 64 playoff appearances with the Memphis Grizzlies, Houston Rockets, Denver Nuggets, Utah Jazz, Atlanta Hawks, Brooklyn Nets, and San Antonio Spurs.
Some of his best work was actually under Budenholzer: Carroll was excellent when he played for Budenholzer’s Hawks team from 2013-15.
Carroll stopped playing in the league after the 2019-20 season when he ended his time as a pro with San Antonio and Houston.
Now it is time for the former forward to show what he’s got as a coach.
He obviously knows the game very well and is quite fond of his new boss so he could help the Bucks make magic in Milwaukee.
