Baker Mayfield has finally found his home in the National Football League.
It wasn’t easy for him, and he reportedly rubbed many people the wrong way in his previous stops, but he’s the right guy for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
When asked what it’s like to play alongside the former No. 1 pick, Buccaneers RB Rachaad White tipped his hat to Mayfield for his leadership.
Talking to Kay Adams on her “Up & Adams” show, White gushed about Mayfield’s toughness, stating that he won’t back down from a challenge or a big hit.

Truthfully, as much as some people have never liked Mayfield’s demeanor, he’s always been a tough player.
He’s not a player who will shy away from contact, play it safe, or not play because of an injury.
He’s been pretty banged up, yet he always wants to be on the field.
That goes a long way with your teammates.
Mayfield can look all of them in the eye in the huddle and urge them to give their all on any given snap because everybody around him knows he will do the same for them.
The Buccaneers have been dealt a tough hand with injuries this season, but they still have a chance to make the playoffs, and everybody will rally behind their quarterback.
