The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been known for elite defense, which has been this team’s calling card for the past several years.
While Tom Brady got their offense over the hump, the defense will likely need to carry them in 2023, given their current quarterback situation.
When the offseason began, signs pointed to a disgruntled Devin White, who had reportedly requested a trade.
Despite not getting a contract extension, Adam Schefter has recently reported that White will report to camp.
Buccaneers’ linebacker, Devin White, who requested a trade this off-season while hoping for the contract extension that did not materialize, is reporting to training camp today with the rest of his veteran teammates.

July 25th marks the start of training camp for many teams across the league, including the Buccaneers.
White’s contract is set to expire after the 2023 season.
Despite being one of the league’s best linebackers, the Buccaneers didn’t extend White beyond this year.
At just 25 years old, White will turn to the 2023 campaign, hoping to prove his worth to the Buccaneers or another organization.
He and the Buccaneers defense will have a lot of weight on their shoulders this season, as expectations are tempered on offense.
Going from Brady to either Kyle Trask or Baker Mayfield will almost certainly result in a downturn in production.
If the defense can’t limit their opponents to 20 or fewer points, the Buccaneers could be in for a long season.
Will White and the rest of the defense be able to live up to their previously set expectations?
The NFC South is genuinely up for grabs.
There isn’t a standout favorite, leaving the door wide open for the taking.
Will the Buccaneers regain the top spot in this division, despite losing Brady?
