The Carolina Panthers pulled off one of the most substantial trades in recent history ahead of the 2023 NFL Season.
They acquired the No. 1 overall draft pick from the Chicago Bears, allowing them to select whomever they wanted.
After much discussion and deliberation, they chose Bryce Young, a highly debated prospect coming into the draft.
While the Panthers were excited about what he could do coming into the year, his output during his rookie season left something to be desired.
The Panthers had the worst record in the NFL in 2023, leaving fans wondering if the team made a mistake by drafting Young.
His career trajectory remains to be seen, but while his on-field output wasn’t necessarily what many expected, there are still plenty of people who believe that he can be a productive player when given the right pieces around him.

Both the Hornets and the Panthers have a lot of work to do if they want to have a better standing in their respective teams.
Each organization has several young players who have given fans hope and excitement, but now it’s time for them to pull through.
