The Carolina Panthers found their guy, and we’re not talking just about his feel for the game and his traits as a football player.
Bryce Young seems to have it — almost all — and he’s been in the spotlight more often than not, yet he doesn’t handle himself that way.
According to Scott Fowler (via SNF on NBC), that’s one of the things that Panthers veteran Brian Burns likes about him, as he knows how good he is, but he’s still quite humble and down to Earth, which is not something one could say about many No. 1 picks.
Bryce Young is already making a quick impression on his teammates.

Young was poised to be a star from the very second he committed to the University of Alabama, and his rapid rise to stardom has been nonstop.
Of course, there was no shortage of doubters throughout the whole NFL Draft process, with a lot of folks talking about his size — or lack thereof — and how he had to bulk up to be able to succeed in the league.
But it’s not like he’s going to be the first — or only — short quarterback in the history of the NFL.
Even if he turns out to be more of a Drew Brees than a Tom Brady, Brees still had an outstanding career, one of the best ever.
There will always be concerns with a player of his size, but Young has proven that he’s all about football and a guy who knows how to avoid contact, and he continues to make a good impression among his peers for his leadership skills and work ethic.
