Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam shared his take on Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay’s recent comments.
ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler tweeted, “#Browns owner Jimmy Haslam said he was not aware Jim Irsay would make his Dan Snyder comments and that he’s waiting on Mary Jo White’s investigation before making determinations. ‘It’s premature for anybody to make any comments,’ he said. ‘We need to follow the process.'”

Irsay recently commented that there is merit to removing Snyder as Washington Commanders owner.
Meanwhile, Mary Jo White is investigating the Commanders’ alleged financial misconduct, which involved keeping two sets of accounting books to hide their revenue from the league.
Haslam has a point in going through due process.
However, doing so may amount to nothing.
Likewise, his comments signify that the owners are not unanimous in removing Snyder.
They will need 24 votes to finalize the resolution once they put it into a vote.
But aside from Haslam, there may be other owners who share his sentiments.
Snyder Denies Allegations In ESPN’s Article
Though it will take a while before a resolution takes place, Snyder did write a letter to his fellow owners to deny the allegations in a lengthy article published on ESPN.
He mentioned that the article contained false and malicious statements, especially the part wherein Snyder allegedly hired private investigators to keep an eye on fellow NFL owners and Commissioner Roger Goodell.
This letter comes at a time when the Commanders are also dealing with allegations of an unsafe working environment, especially for women.
Haslam must have received that letter and is willing to let Snyder go through fair proceedings.
However, delays in that process may lead nowhere.
