Fresh off of a brutal loss at the hands of the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1, the Cleveland Browns have made a couple of minor roster moves heading into their Week 2 matchup against the Houston Texans.
The Browns have placed rookie cornerback Myles Harden (shin) on injured reserve.
They also signed rookie linebacker Michael Barrett to the practice squad, according to Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston.

These kinds of moves are common around the NFL as each week comes and goes with teams looking to make tweaks here and there.
Harden was a seventh-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft out of South Dakota after an FCS All-American season. By being placed on IR, he will now have to sit out at least the next four games.
Most late-round rookies are usually practice squad players to start out because that is where they fit in best at the beginning of their career.
The same could be said for a practice squad player like Barrett, who is joining his third NFL team of the season.
A seventh-round pick of the Carolina Panthers in the 2024 draft, he was also with the Seattle Seahawks before Cleveland picked him up.
Fresh off winning a national championship at Michigan, he will be looking to make an impact with the Browns if he gets an opportunity.
Time will tell to see when Harden can make it back from injured reserve, and if Barrett will get promoted from the practice squad.
