After four games, Bronny James’ run with the Los Angeles Lakers is being put on hold for now.
Earlier this week, it was announced that James was being transferred to LA’s G League team, the South Bay Lakers.
According to that team, via Dan Woike, Bronny’s first game in the G League is now officially sold out.

James will be playing in the G League but he’ll be with the Lakers one more time before that.
Earlier this week, Shams Charania reported that James will be on the Lakers roster for their game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday before heading to South Bay.
Following that, the plan is for James to split his time between South Bay and Los Angeles, with him performing in home games for the G League while being available for the Lakers too.
That means Lakers fans who don’t watch the G League haven’t seen the last of Bronny.
This could be a huge boost for the young rookie, who averaged 1.0 point on 16.7 percent from the field during his four games.
Playing with the G League will allow him to work on his skills, improve, and be better prepared for any time on the court with the Lakers.
Despite what some people might say, this move is not unexpected and it was the plan all along.
South Bay will be very happy to see their attendance explode every time James plays.
