The Denver Broncos‘ offense looked far from sharp in Week 1 against the Tennessee Titans.
Perhaps bolstering their running game will help clean that up.
With that in mind, the Broncos are adding former Dallas Cowboys running back Deuce Vaughn to their practice squad, according to Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team.

Vaughn worked out for Denver last week but didn’t sign a contract at the time.
He was a sixth-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft and played in 14 games for Dallas, logging 168 yards from scrimmage.
At 5-foot-6 and 176 pounds, he’s not the biggest guy out there by any means.
Even so, he excelled at Kansas State, earning Big 12 Offensive Freshman of the Year and later getting first-team All-Big 12 and consensus All-American selections.
The Broncos seem to be set at running back with J.K. Dobbins, RJ Harvey and Tyler Badie, so Vaughn might have a tough time getting to the 53-man roster.
Jaleel McLaughlin is also on the team, but he was inactive against Tennessee.
Dobbins and Harvey combined for 133 rushing yards and one touchdown on 22 carries, taking pressure off quarterback Bo Nix in a surprisingly tough matchup for the second-year pro.
The Broncos entered the season with Super Bowl aspirations, and as such, there’s a chance Vaughn will get an opportunity at some point.
