The Denver Broncos are coming off a very disappointing season after making a blockbuster trade for superstar quarterback Russell Wilson, who was thought to be the one to get this franchise back on track as a contender in the AFC.
Although the 2022 NFL season was forgettable, to say the least for the Broncos, Denver is still a very talented team with a potentially bright future ahead, with star players on both sides of the football.
One of those stars is cornerback Patrick Surtain II, who has played well ever since the team drafted him out of the University of Alabama in the 2021 NFL Draft with the No. 9 overall pick.
In a recent appearance on The Jim Rome Show, Surtain talked about what area of his game he plans to improve ahead of his third year in a Broncos uniform.

In 33 games during his first two seasons in Denver, Surtain has racked up six interceptions, 24 passes defensed. a forced fumble, and a defensive touchdown.
Solid numbers to start his NFL career, as he’s quickly earning the reputation as one of the best corners in the game, especially coming off his first All-Pro selection in 2022.
In 2023, the Broncos will be put under the microscope once again, with the team recently bringing in one-time Super Bowl champion Sean Payton to lead the charge on the sideline.
Wilson and Surtain will be two of the prominent stars in Denver looking to get this team back in contention in the AFC, and that will be no easy task, considering the competition in the conference and the AFC West division.
