Fresh off of their upset win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, the Denver Broncos decided to add some more help on defense.
According to ESPN insider Adam Schefter, the Broncos are signing free agent linebacker Kwon Alexander to their practice squad.
The 30-year-old could have a chance to make an impact if he gets elevated to the active roster later on down the road.

Denver’s current group of linebackers is headlined by veterans Alex Singleton, Cody Barton, Nik Bonitto, and Jonathon Cooper.
Singleton and Barton are the two most productive names considering they have each recorded 120+ tackles multiple times over in their careers.
Alexander led the NFL in solo tackles back in 2016 when he was a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (108).
The following season, he was selected to the first and only Pro Bowl of his career.
The former LSU Tiger does have a past with current Broncos head coach Sean Payton as the two were together for parts of two seasons in New Orleans with the Saints (2020-2021).
Now in his 10th NFL season, Alexander has become a bit of a journeyman.
The Broncos are the sixth different team that he has played for in his career and the fourth different team that he has played for in the last four years.
If he can get elevated to the active roster at some point and provide any sort of depth for this team, that could be very key for a team that is continuing to search for more and more leaders.
