Sunday’s NFC Championship Game was the toughest test for Brock Purdy in his career.
During the team’s first drive of the game, Purdy went down with an injury.
While fans didn’t know the extent of his injury during the game, they found out later how severe it was.
The game saw the San Francisco 49ers go to Josh Johnson as their quarterback after Purdy suffered his injury.
However, a concussion forced the seventh-round pick back into the lineup.
Fans around the world then saw his toughness as he returned to play with a torn elbow ligament.
Brock Purdy re-entered the game for the 49ers against the NFL's best pass rush despite having a completely torn elbow ligament.
I'd say there's nothing wrong with his toughness meter

Despite having an injury so severe, the young quarterback went back onto the field.
However, his impact during the game was minimal because of his injury.
But it doesn’t take away from him being tough as nails and fighting off the pain of his injury.
It shows the heart the young man has, as his fighting spirit is now legendary.
However, this fighting spirit has always been a part of him.
Even back during his days in college with Iowa State, he fought every game to win.
While he’s never gone through an injury of this magnitude before, he’s always had a competitive spirit deeply rooted inside of himself.
He fights to win and play each game, no matter how he feels.
It’s a drive like his which the 49ers offense needs when the 2023 NFL kicks off.
While the injury puts Purdy out for six months, his drive might show the 49ers why he’s the guy they need in 2023.
