The Kansas City Chiefs are back in the AFC Championship Game for the seventh year in a row, a testament to how dominant their run with Patrick Mahomes has been.
The Chiefs entered the 2024 NFL season hoping to become the NFL’s first “three-peat” Super Bowl champions, and they’re well on their way to doing so.
Kansas City will face the Buffalo Bills, a team they’ve become quite familiar with in recent years through their regular-season and playoff matchups.
Josh Allen versus Mahomes has become arguably the premier quarterback matchup in the league as they represent two of the best players at the position.
Mahomes is already considered one of the best players in league history by virtue of all the accolades he’s racked up, but he has a chance to truly cement himself as an all-time great if he wins another Super Bowl.
Ahead of the highly-anticipated matchup, Mahomes’ wife Brittany posted two simple words via her personal Instagram account.
“TODAY LFGGGGGGGGGG” Brittany posted.
Like the rest of Kansas City, Brittany is excited about the game, which will pit two of the best teams in the league against each other.
Mahomes has had the upper hand against Allen in their previous matchups, although the latter is currently playing the best football of his career.
Beating the Bills will be a tall task, even for the Chiefs, who have everything they need to meet the challenge.
Patrick has always risen to the occasion in big games, and it’ll be fun to see how he looks when he faces off against Buffalo.
