Brian Flores currently finds himself unemployed after being surprisingly fired by the Miami Dolphins this week.
He just guided his team to consecutive winning seasons and has a great resume compared to others on the coaching market.
That means Flores is already a hot commodity and teams around the NFL may have a new favorite candidate in the job search.
One team has reportedly lined up an interview with the former Dolphins head man.
Former #Dolphins coach Brian Flores is set to interview for the #Bears head coaching job, per source.
After his surprise dismissal Monday, Flores is expected to be hot in this cycle. Chicago gets the first confirmed interview.

The Chicago Bears fired both their head coach and GM as they look to get a reset.
Adding Flores may be the best-case scenario of all and one that didn’t seem possible just days ago.
A New Regime In Chicago
Bears ownership is trying to get this right so that means a wide-ranging search.
They are linked to just about every top candidate, while Jim Harbaugh and Ryan Day are two names that continue to show up in rumors.
But Flores is the most unique candidate because he just had a winning season as an NFL head coach in 2021.
He does not have to come into an interview and hype up past success as a coordinator.
All he has to do is explain what he did over the past few months in Miami.
The only question has to do with hiring Flores if there isn’t a GM in place.
The rumor is that he was unable to have a good relationship with Dolphins GM Chris Grier.
If you don’t want Brian Flores b/c he was rough, abrasive, didn’t get along with his GM and rubbed people the wrong way in Miami but want Jim Harbaugh, that seems pretty inconsistent to me. #Bears

If relationships are an issue, is he still a top option?
All teams care about is winning and Flores did just that after a rebuilding year in 2019.
The results speak volumes and Chicago may want a more serious head coach in place to turn things around as the franchise chases its first Super Bowl since the 1985 season.
Mike Ditka was the head coach that year and wasn’t exactly the friendliest guy around.
