After a disappointing 2023 NFL season, the Tennessee Titans appear in line for a makeover this offseason.
Tennessee already made a major organizational change when they fired Mike Vrabel and brought in Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan to become their new head coach.
Callahan spent five seasons as the Bengals’ offensive coordinator and will look to bring his experience and expertise to the Titans who were one of the worst offensive teams in 2023.
The franchise is banking that Callahan can help mold Will Levis who is set to be Tennessee’s starting quarterback during the 2024 NFL season.
Levis showed some real flashes during his rookie season, though he faded down the stretch of the regular season.
Callahan has high hopes for Levis and wants him to learn the new offense by watching tape of Joe Burrow via Chris Simms of NBC Sports.
“Titans HC Brian Callahan told us that the starting point for teaching Will Levis about his offense will be cut-ups of Joe Burrow. Says offense will be Cincinnati-ish with his own spin on it,” Simms reported.

The Bengals and Burrow had an efficient and explosive offense when he was healthy, so it makes sense why Callahan is asking Levis to study him during the offseason.
Cincinnati did a good job of marrying the run game with the pass game, so Callahan will likely implement similar concepts into his scheme.
If Levis can build off his rookie season and get the playbook down, then the Titans should see a jump in offensive efficiency during next season.
