Fans of the Atlanta Braves received good news on Tuesday morning when the team announced that right-hander Kyle Wright had returned from the injured list.
The 27-year-old began the season on the IL with right shoulder soreness after making just two starts in spring training.
However, Wright has completed his rehab assignment and is ready to return from the injured list.
He will make the start for the Braves on Tuesday night against the Cincinnati Reds.
On Twitter, the Braves announced the news of Wright’s activation and return, as well as the corresponding move that followed after the game on Monday night.

Left-hander Dylan Dodd was optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett after Monday night’s walk-off win over the Reds.
The young left-hander made his debut at Busch Stadium against the St. Louis Cardinals and delivered a five-inning, one-run start, earning the win.
But with the return of Wright, the Braves rotation is getting stronger.
It’s also a major boost for the team.
Left-hander Max Fried is still currently on the injured list with a hamstring injury.
Spencer Strider is healthy, as is Charlie Morton.
But Wright’s return gives the Braves another much-needed serviceable option in the rotation.
Last season, the young right-hander won 21 games in 30 starts, posting a 3.19 ERA in 180.1 innings of work.
He also struck out 174 batters, allowed 156 hits, and 67 runs, 64 of which were earned.
For his career, Wright owns a 4.13 ERA in 51 total appearances.
He made his MLB debut in 2018 as a member of the team’s bullpen before being converted to a starter.
