In a game that went down to the wire, the Los Angeles Chargers lost to the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football.
Both teams had plenty of opportunities to pull away with the victory, but the Cowboys ultimately came home with the win.
Brandon Staley had a few comments after the game, which were shared via Pro Football Talk.
Staley said, “It was 20-17 between two really good teams.”

While Staley was disappointed with the loss, he understood that it was to a good team.
The Cowboys are now 4-2 and sit just one game behind the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC East.
As for the Chargers, this loss brought them down to 2-3, a difficult place to be in through five games.
Staley was brought in as head coach to be a difference-maker for this team.
The Chargers were supposed to be an analytically-run, fundamentally sound team led by Staley and Justin Herbert.
Despite high praise heading into his new role as head coach, Staley has been criticized for his decision-making thus far as a head coach.
For instance, in this game against the Cowboys, there was a point when the Chargers trailed, 10-7.
Herbert drove the offense down the field, all the way down to Dallas’ seven-yard line.
They reached fourth-and-one, and instead of tying the game with a field goal, Staley’s offense went for it.
Their fourth-down play resulted in an incomplete pass, giving Dallas the ball back with an opportunity to further their lead.
If he continues to make these types of decisions, his time in LA might not last much longer.
