Ahead of the 2023 NBA Draft, Brandon Miller, who was one of the top prospects, made an interesting and somewhat head-scratching statement about who he believed was the GOAT.
Usually, young players coming into the league says LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, or Michael Jordan when talking about who they’d pick as the greatest basketball player of all time.
However, Miller went in a completely different direction that took everyone by surprise, as he called Los Angeles Clippers superstar Paul George the greatest player of all time.
Well, at least to him.
Miller admitted that he patented his game after George, and the similarities are there, as the two are very much alike on the basketball floor.
Recently, Miller got to meet and talk to his GOAT on Podcast P with Paul George.

Ultimately, Miller’s take didn’t impact his draft status, nor should it, as the Charlotte Hornets chose to go with him with the No. 2 overall pick after Victor Wembanyama was taken by the San Antonio Spurs at No. 1 overall.
Ironically enough, Miller was the last draft choice that Jordan would be making as majority owner of the Hornets, and he received a phone call from the NBA legend when he was officially selected by Charlotte.
Miller will now join forces with All-Star guard LaMelo Ball on the Hornets as the duo tries to turn things around for the struggling franchise, while Jordan steps back after selling a majority stake in the team following a long stint as the head man in Charlotte.
