It seems that every year NBA analysts and commentators wonder about the future of Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal.

Will he stay or will he go?

This is asked again and again and this year is no exception as there is new noise about Beal possibly departing from the Wizards and trying his luck elsewhere in the league.

If he does decide to leave the Wiz, he could make a new home for himself in Miami.

The latest report says that the Heat are seen as legitimate suitors for Beal if he chooses he’s had enough of the Wizards.

What are the chances that this will happen?

Beal Bailing

Currently, Beal has a player option with the Wizards that’s worth $36 million.

Many people estimate that he has the best chance of a great deal if opts out of that deal and then re-signs a new one with Washington.

Some have even predicted that he could earn about $230 million with a five-year deal in Washington.

But if Beal is more focused on winning than a paycheck, he might be smart to abandon the Wiz entirely.

The team hasn’t been doing well this season.

They started strong and were one of the best teams in the association briefly but they are now 11th in the East and it seems unlikely they’ll make the postseason.

The chance to play with a team that is sitting at the top of the Eastern Conference might be too good to pass up.

However, if the Heat end up winning it all this year they might change their minds about wanting Beal.

Why would they want to mess with something that isn’t broken?

For that reason, Beal might be secretly hoping the Heat fall apart in the playoffs.
