Bo Nix was the last quarterback selected in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, but he has the Denver Broncos on the verge of locking up a playoff berth in the AFC.
Nix has an outside shot of winning Offensive Rookie of the Year and is entering Week 17 on the verge of setting an NFL record.
“Bo Nix is currently tied with Justin Herbert, C.J. Stroud and Russell Wilson for the most games with 2+ passing TDs and 0 INTs as a rookie in NFL history. Bo has two more games to break the record,” Zac Stevens of DNVR Sports.

In his first three NFL starts, Nix had no touchdown passes and four interceptions, but since then, he has had six games with multiple touchdown passes and no interceptions and will look to set the record at the Cincinnati Bengals.
It’s a crucial matchup as the Bengals are on a three-game winning streak and are the team trying to chase down the Broncos for a wild-card spot.
All Denver has to do to lock up a postseason berth is win one more game, and after facing Cincinnati it gets the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 18, when the two-time defending Super Bowl champions could sit many of their starters with the No. 1 seed in the AFC already wrapped up.
Nix has 26 total touchdowns and has injected life into a franchise that desperately needed it, and we’ll see if he can break this record in Week 17 against one of the league’s worst defenses.
