Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette has been one of the most consistent players in the American League ever since he was called up in 2019.
To this date, he has always performed like an above-average hitter and has mostly avoided slumps.
Of course, his incredible ability to make contact gives him a nice floor.
One of the most skilled pure hitters in baseball, Bichette is continuing a cool trend after two months of the 2023 campaign.

That’s right: Bichette accumulated 191 hits in 2021, and nobody had more in the junior circuit.
Then he proceeded to log 189 the next year, again the leader of the American League.
After hitting a home run on Thursday evening in the Jays’ victory over the Milwaukee Brewers, Bichette reached 81 hits already in 2023.
This time, he is aiming higher: nobody in MLB has more.
He is slashing an incredible .332/.368/.533 with 12 round-trippers and a .901 OPS.
In a lineup with Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Matt Chapman, George Springer, Alejandro Kirk and many other talented hitters, he has been the most consistent of them all.
The Jays have taken advantage of the Boston Red Sox’s recent skid and are now out of the last place in the AL East.
Toronto has been far from bad, though, as they have a 30-27 record after their Thursday victory.
The AL East will be tougher than ever, with every team vying for a place in the postseason.
Players like Bichette give the Jays a chance in every game, as he is a reliable offensive star with contact, power, defense, and leadership.NEXT: Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Made A Hilarious Play In The Infield
