The Toronto Blue Jays are looking to bounce back in 2023 after being eliminated in the American League Wild Card Series by the Seattle Mariners last October.
The team won 92 games during the regular season and captured the top Wild Card spot, but were ultimately swept out of the first round.
This year, they’ll look to have some more success and potentially make a deeper run into the postseason for the first time since 2016.
On Twitter, the team posted a hype video for the start of spring training, featuring stars such as George Springer, Bo Bichette, Matt Chapman, Whit Merrifield, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., and Daulton Varsho taking batting practice, with a caption that read, “Whole Squad Ready.”

If you’re a Blue Jays fan, this is certainly a welcomed sight.
The team had a busy offseason, signing Chris Bassitt, Chad Green, and Kevin Kiermaier, while also acquiring Erik Swanson and Varsho in trades.
This is a good team that is capable of a deep run into October.
The season ended in bitter fashion for the Jays, as they let an 8-1 lead slip in Game 2 of the Wild Card Series against the Mariners.
But with a few key additions, this team looks ready to compete for a spot in the postseason in 2023.
They’ll have some tough competition to deal with, including the New York Yankees, Tampa Bay Rays, and Baltimore Orioles.
But with the stars on their roster, they should be in a good position to make some improvements this season and erase the pain of last October.
