Another day is here, and there is another positive update regarding Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin.
A week ago, everybody was anxiously waiting for an optimistic update on Hamlin after he collapsed during Monday night’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Then, he woke up, FaceTimed his team, and he was watching the Bills face the New England Patriots in Week 18 from his hospital bed.
Things have taken a giant turn for the best for Hamlin, and on Wednesday, we got another huge update on his health status.

Hamlin was discharged from the Buffalo General Medical Center, and this is terrific news for everybody involved and all who had been thinking and praying for him over the past two weeks.
Here’s the statement from Jamie Nadler, physician and Chief Quality Officer at Kaleida Health:
“We have completed a series of tests and evaluations, and in consultation with team physicians, we are confident that Damar can be safely discharged to continue his rehabilitation at home and with the Bills.”
Less than two weeks after collapsing on the field, Hamlin is headed home, and he will be able to watch the Bills playoff game against the Miami Dolphins from the comfort of his own house.
This is the best-case scenario for Hamlin, and with each day that goes on, the more positive news comes out.
Now, the Bills are preparing for the Dolphins in the AFC playoffs — and a third meeting with their AFC East rival — and they have much more to play for this time around.
