The Buffalo Bills finished the 2022 season with a loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in the divisional round of the playoffs.
Josh Allen has remained a highly-regarded leader for this organization, considered one of the AFC’s best.
As they look forward to 2023, the Bills will be without one of their offensive leaders, as a recent report has indicated.
According to Tom Pelissero, Nyheim Hines will miss the 2023 season after suffering a catastrophic knee injury.

Hines was traded to the Bills mid-season in 2022, starting just one game and appearing in nine.
Even though he wasn’t an every-game starter, Hines did provide significant value to the Bills.
He was a change-of-pace back for the team and their primary kick returner.
Hines gained national recognition last season, as he became just the 11th player in league history to run back two kicks for touchdowns in the same game.
Now that Hines is likely out for the entire season, it’ll be up to James Cook and Damien Harris to lead the Bills’ backfield.
Cook was a rookie in 2022 and, despite being drafted in the second round, only saw 89 carries.
He turned those carries into 507 yards, an average of 5.7 yards per carry.
He’ll look to significantly impact the roster this season, proving to the organization that they made the right choice in drafting him.
Harris was a four-year starter for the New England Patriots and has recently been signed to a one-year, prove-it deal with the Bills.
How will the Bills’ rushing game look this season?
