The Buffalo Bills are making moves behind the scenes as they prepare for the 2025 NFL Draft.
With the league about to turn its attention to new talent, the Bills are trimming their roster to create flexibility for incoming rookies and potential post-draft acquisitions.
“Bills waive Armani Rogers (non-football injury), and released Branson Deen,” Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston wrote on X.

Rogers’ departure comes with a non-football injury designation, potentially signaling that health concerns played a role in the decision.
Deen’s release comes after one game of NFL action last season.
The defensive tackle saw limited action in Week 5 against the Houston Texans, playing nine defensive snaps and six on special teams.
Despite this minimal playing time representing his only NFL experience to date, the Bills had shown enough interest to sign him to a futures contract this offseason.
Rogers was similarly positioned after signing his futures deal with Buffalo.
The tight end’s journey includes time with the Washington Commanders, Philadelphia Eagles and Atlanta Falcons.
His only NFL action came in 2022 with Washington, when he appeared in 11 games (starting three) while accumulating 158 offensive snaps and 217 on special teams. Across his career, Rogers has seven touches for 90 yards.
