Even his critics should agree that Tom Brady is the greatest player in NFL history.
He might not be the most athletic, talented, or even the best.
Then again, he was the most clutch, impactful, and the winningest.
That’s why Bill Simmons wants people to put the GOAT debate to rest once and for all.
Following the Kansas City Chiefs’ tough loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, he wants everyone to settle down about the debate.

He claimed that this may have been the greatest moment of Brady’s post-playing career, as he witnessed Mahomes and the Chiefs’ quest for a three-peat crumble before his very eyes.
Furthermore, he thinks that the GOAT debate can be put to rest for at least the next five years.
Simmons pointed out that Brady went 2-0 against Mahomes in the playoffs, not to mention the fact that he never got blown out in the Super Bowl.
He lost three times on the biggest stage, but all the losses were one-score games in which he had a chance to beat the other team.
Simmons stated that Mahomes played the worst game of his career, and he failed when he had an opportunity to have his own version of the 28-3 comeback.
Before Sunday, it seemed like Mahomes was on a sky-high trajectory to take down Brady as the best to ever do it.
Now, even though he still has plenty of time left to catch him, his chances may have taken a big hit.
