The New York Jets headed into the 2023 NFL season with high hopes of being a legitimate Super Bowl title contender in the AFC, with the team seemingly getting the missing piece to the championship puzzle with superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Unfortunately for the Jets, the team saw their season take a drastic turn during their first offensive series against the Buffalo Bills in Week 1, with Rodgers going down with a season-ending Achilles injury.
Although it seemed like doom and gloom in New York, the team was still able to pull out the win against the Bills and showed some resiliency in the process, even though it appeared that the 2023 campaign had taken a drastic turn for the worst.
Despite falling to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 2, who could be the best team in the league, New York still seems to be a force to be reckoned with in the NFL, and New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick knows that all too well, as he believes the defense for the Jets is a problem, via NBC Sports Boston.

Obviously, the Jets’ chances of winning it all without Rodgers are slim to none, as Zach Wilson isn’t the quarterback that will put them over the top, but the team’s defense can compete with the best of them.
Belichick knows defense in the NFL like no one else due to all his experience on that side of the football, and he’s clearly not taking Quinnen Williams and company lightly, as he knows they’ll be a handful in Week 3.
