When most NFL fans hear Bill Belichick’s name, they can’t help but cringe or think of a bad memory of their favorite team.
Belichick and the New England Patriots were responsible for nearly two decades of dominance in the AFC, making it tough for other teams to break through.
Tom Brady was a big part of that, but Belichick’s coaching also helped them get there.
Now, Belichick has started making a name for himself in sports media, speaking on several media outlets, including ESPN.
He has been a staple of the Manning Cast this season, giving people a new appreciation for Belichick and his football mind.
Belichick has also created some hilarious moments on the broadcast, including an interaction with Peyton Manning during the Kansas City Chiefs game against the New Orleans Saints.
Peyton asked him about playing against the Chiefs when he was the Patriots’ coach, and Belichick fired back a zinger.
“The crowd noise there at Arrowhead wasn’t as bad when you guys piped in music at the RCA Dome,” Belichick exclaimed.

He accused Manning and the Colts of filling the stadium with fake noise, something the former quarterback did not want to talk about.
Manning seemed somewhat embarrassed to be in that situation and quickly tried to change the subject.
Belichick seemed to take a jab at him in good fun, but Manning took it more seriously than Belichick might have initially thought.
Regardless, this is just another example of how Belichick has changed in the public eye, as he’s much less serious now than he was during his coaching days.
