We are getting a Finals type of matchup in the second round of the NBA playoffs.

The Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets are going to deliver an intense series.

These two teams both have title aspirations.

However, there can be only one winner.

The Nets have the star power, whereas the Bucks are the small market team with a great superstar.

We do not know who is going to win, or what is even going to happen.

This series has the potential of being an all-time classic.

Great playoff series are made even better by storylines.

This one has plenty of storylines to touch on.

Let’s look at the three best storylines of this series between the Nets and Bucks.

3. The Beginning Of A New Dynasty?

The Nets have the most talent out of the two teams.

They have Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Kyrie Irving all on one team.

Their offense is extremely high-powered and scary for other teams.

The Nets Big 3 averaged a combined 85.2 points this playoffs.

To put that in perspective, the 1999 Knicks (who went to the Finals) averaged 85.0 as a team. pic.twitter.com/lCCizfDbep

Each one of them can score at will.

All three can shoot at such high percentages.

What is there for a defense to do against this offense?

This can be the start of a new era in basketball.

We just got done with the Golden State Warriors dynasty, but perhaps we are close to another one.

The Nets have not played together for a long amount of time.

However, their offense is one of the most potent in NBA history.

After this series, we might truly believe that the NBA belongs to the Nets.

2. Giannis And The Bucks’ Revenge Tour

For two straight seasons the Bucks finished with the best record in the league and the number one seed in the Eastern Conference.

They were looked at as one of the title contenders each of those seasons.

Unfortunately, they were upset before the Finals.

Now their superstar guy, Giannis Antetokounmpo, is ready to break through.

He and the Bucks are done with failing.

They look ready to compete with the best.

That starts with the Nets in this series.

This is the most talented team they have ever faced, but they have the tools to win.

The revenge tour will either end here or keep on rolling to the next round.

1. Giannis Vs. Harden

The ideal basketball matchup in this series is definitely between Giannis and Durant.

However, the storyline aspect is better suited for Giannis and Harden.

These two individuals have a tendency to cross paths.

Even this past week had Giannis talking about the Nets’ big three, and he didn’t name Harden.

He insisted to say Jeff Green is the other great player, which was an obvious dig at Harden.

They have traded words as well.

No one knows exactly where this beef started, but we love it.

Also, both of these two former MVPs have something to prove.

Both have legacies that are not finalized just yet.

Both have past playoff performances where they did not have the best showing.

They have both been the number one seed and failed to reach the Finals.

There are the similarities and differences between Giannis and Harden.

This storyline is a juicy one that nobody will forget about.
