According to a report by Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic, CB Dax Hill has a torn ACL and will miss the remainder of the season.

As Dehner pointed out, this could be a fatal blow to the Bengals’ defense, not to mention a tough break for his career.
Hill had struggled to find his spot on the defense and even embraced a change of position after entering the league as a free safety.
He had started every game for the Bengals since the beginning of the 2023 season, so it will be very difficult to find a suitable replacement.
For his career, he’s logged 151 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and two interceptions, and he had logged 25 tackles and one sack this season.
This team is now 1-4 on the season, and their postseason chances are fading away.
Joe Burrow isn’t to blame, though, as he’s excelled over the past month, but their defense just isn’t able to keep opposing teams away from the end-zone, and it will be even tougher without Hill out there.
