The Cleveland Browns steamrolled the Cincinnati Bengals in what was one of the most surprising results from the NFL’s opening weekend.
After finishing the 2022 season with a 7-10 record, the Browns entered the new year with a statement win.
While this victory was unexpected, a former Bengals player cautioned against any premature celebrations from the Browns.
In a conversation on “Club Shay Shay,” Chad Johnson said, “When it comes playoff time… I know who runs the North!”
“Congratulations to the Browns, but I know when it comes playoff time… I know who runs the North! Week 1 ain’t never won nothing.” – @ochocinco

Johnson also added, “Week 1 ain’t never won nothing,” an indication that the Browns have a long season ahead of them.
Several Week 1 matchups yielded a different result than many expected.
For instance, the Chicago Bears were expected to beat the Green Bay Packers, and the Packers ended up blowing them out.
A similar result happened in this Week 1 matchup with the Browns and the Bengals.
Johnson believes this one game wasn’t a reason to panic, especially since the Bengals have proven to play well during the postseason lately.
They have made it to two straight AFC Championships, with much thanks attributed to Joe Burrow and their elite offense.
Burrow put forth a pedestrian effort in this contest, likely due to his recent lack of practice with the team.
Recovering from leg injuries can be a tall task at any position, but especially for quarterbacks given their needed mobility in today’s NFL.
He’s expected to turn things around in the next few weeks, bringing the Bengals back to their standing atop the AFC North.
