Not so long ago, the Cincinnati Bengals were either a borderline playoff team or one of the worst teams in the league.
But the front office, Zac Taylor, and Joe Burrow have been instrumental in their rapid turnaround, up to the point where they’re now one of the strongest candidates to come out of the AFC North.
With that in mind, Cincinnati native pass rusher Sam Hubbard recently vowed to deliver a Super Bowl to his city, adding that he’s never felt better physically entering a season.

Hubbard attended Archbishop Moeller High School in Cincinnati before spending his college at Ohio State.
He’s only played for his hometown team since entering the league, logging 299 total tackles, 30.5 sacks, five forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, 14 pass deflections, and one touchdown.
Hubbard is one of the biggest contributors within the Bengals’ revamped defensive front, and having him take another leap forward in his development would only make them an even bigger threat.
There’s no doubt that the Bengals have everything in their favor to try and fulfill Hubbard’s prophecy.
They have a young core of playmakers on the offensive side of the field, with Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd, and — obviously — Ja’Marr Chase headlining one of the most explosive trios in the league.
Moreover, they’ve found some success vs. the biggest powerhouse in the AFC, the Kansas City Chiefs, so they should like their chances against everybody else in the league as they enter this revenge season after falling just short of another Super Bowl berth in 2022.
