Joint practices have quickly become a staple of the NFL offseason.
This allows teams to practice together and is an opportunity for players to face opponents that are not their teammates.
The Cincinnati Bengals and Green Bay Packers are working together for these joint practices.
Mike Hilton, a veteran cornerback for the Bengals, was recently asked about Jordan Love’s progress.
Per Matt Schneidman, Hilton said, “He’s seeing things a little slower and his process is a little faster.”
Bengals veteran CB Mike Hilton on Jordan Love:
“Real strong arm. Obviously that’s what he’s been known for, but you can tell … he’s seeing things a little slower and his process is a little faster, so I feel like Green Bay got a good one.”

Hilton is an experienced veteran and has seen a lot of different quarterbacks throughout the years.
Given that he’s not on the Packers, Hilton isn’t obligated to give Love praise or talk about him.
These comments indicate that Love is progressing well and will hopefully bring the Packers greater success than many expect.
The Packers have been graced with elite quarterback play for over 30 years between Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers.
Despite Love’s first-round draft capital, the public opinion of him is torn.
Some believe he’ll be the Packers’ third-straight franchise QB, while others believe he’ll quickly be relegated to a backup role.
Given the proximity to the regular season, fans won’t have to wait long to find out what Love can do.
The Packers have one of the youngest receiving rooms in the NFL.
Love isn’t working with longtime NFL veterans, which could be a point of contention during his first year as the starter.
If he’s able to bring the Packers a winning season, he’ll silence his doubters, proving he’s the real deal.
