It’s been a long while since Chicago Bears fans had plenty of reasons to be excited about an upcoming season.
But according to WR Darnell Mooney, it’s officially time fans finally get ready to watch their team win some football games and make big strides in the league:
“Get ready to win. Tired of losing,” Mooney said, via NFL.com. “Don’t go for any hypeness or anything like that. Just get ready to win.”

The talented wideout couldn’t finish the 2022 season due to an ankle injury, eventually undergoing surgery and spending plenty of time working his way back to the field.
He couldn’t partake in offseason workouts, but he’s reportedly ready to be a full go when his team kicks off training camp in the final week of July.
Despite being a perennial breakout candidate, Mooney didn’t find much success as the Bears’ clear-cut primary weapon in the passing game.
He hauled in just 30 receptions for 493 yards and a couple of scores in 12 weeks before suffering that injury.
Now, the team has more than enough weapons to put around him, adding D.J. Moore in the offseason, which will most likely make Mooney the No. 2 option going forward.
Entering the final year of his rookie deal, Moore’s presence will open up way more lanes for him to go back to his dominant ways from the 2021 campaign.
The Bears will also rely on Chase Claypool, Robert Tonyan, and Cole Kmet in the passing game, and with Justin Fields expected to take another big leap in year 3, things could finally look good for a Bears team that could very well make a lot of noise in an NFC North division that seems up for grabs.
