The Miami Heat are rallied back into the Finals after winning Game 2 against the Denver Nuggets.
If they go on to secure the championship, it’ll partly be because of the hard work and deft skill of big man Bam Adebayo.
Adebayo has been excellent throughout the playoffs, almost averaging a double-double throughout the games.
But he’s been even better during the Finals.
According to StatMuse, he is producing 23.5 points, 11 rebounds, and 1 block per game.
That puts him on pace to average the most rebounds per game by a Heat player in a Finals series.

The might of Adebayo is a huge asset for the Heat.
The team is known for a lot of talented shooters who can make it rain from all over the court.
They are also known for the leadership and charisma of Jimmy Butler.
But Adebayo might be the team’s most consequential player.
His ability to score in the paint and chip at the glass is one of the reasons this team has surged back into the playoffs in such a big way.
There are some fans claiming that if the Heat score a championship ring then Adebayo should be gifted the Finals MVP trophy.
If he keeps playing like this, that could happen.
Adebayo’s defensive power is even more important right now because the team is playing against the Nuggets, who are bigger than them.
That means that Adebayo has the cards stacked against him in many ways, yet he is still finding ways to grab more than ten rebounds a game.
The Heat know that Adebayo is a key part of their success so there is no doubt he will be deeply involved in every game moving forward.
