Austin Rivers has been all over the NBA during his 11 years in the league.
He is currently without a team but there is a good chance he signs a deal somewhere before the new season begins.
The man is a talented role player and he definitely has immense basketball knowledge.
Speaking to The Ringer, via Ahn Fire Digital, Rivers listed his top-10 basketball players of all time.
The list didn’t contain many surprises but it did contain a lot of passion from Rivers.
He listed both LeBron James and Michael Jordan as number one and two, although he didn’t say who was the top player and who was second.
After that, he listed the rest in no particular order.
Rivers said that Kobe Bryant, Stephen Curry, Tim Duncan, Shaquille O’Neal, Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Kevin Durant, and Bill Russell round out the rest of his list.

Rivers didn’t get into much detail about his list, although he did add that Russell was his tenth pick and included “due to how much this guy won, on just anything he did.”
That is a solid list and the names featured on it are on countless others.
It goes to show just how much Rivers knows about the game he loves and also how well-respected these players are, across all generations and backgrounds.
Rivers is now looking to move on to a new team in the league after spending one year with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
He has bounced around a lot over the last few years, playing for the T-Wolves, Denver Nuggets, Houston Rockets, and Washington Wizards.
He has seen less time on the court and less production too but he is just 31 years old and can still help out a number of teams willing to sign him.
