At this point, LeBron James’ place in NBA history is secure, and nothing is going to change that.
He has done so much during his 22 years in the league that comparisons to Michael Jordan and other NBA icons are completely fair and appropriate.
When speaking about James, Los Angeles Lakers star Austin Reaves said that James really has done it all and anyone questioning him has ulterior motives.
“If people say he has something to prove, they’re Jordan fans,” Reaves said, per Lakers Daily, via Legion Hoops.

That’s quite the statement from Reaves, but it is one that many people are making.
The further James gets in his career and the more he accomplishes, the harder it is for critics to say he is not one of the best basketball players of all time.
Of course, some people will always feel uncomfortable saying that he is better than Jordan, but the argument can be made.
At 40 years old, James is averaging 24.7 points, 7.7 rebound, and 8.9 assists on 51.6 percent from the field and 39.7 percent from the three-point line.
On Thursday night, James put up 40 points and 8 rebounds.
Seeing him achieve these numbers at this age is simply amazing, and it is blowing away not just Reaves but millions of Lakers fans.
The debate about James versus Jordan will continue for a long time after he retires.
Reaves has been able to see James work up close, and he obviously has a strong affinity for his teammate.
He believes he has nothing else to prove, but he will keep playing at 100 percent for as long as he can.
