Fans are understandably excited to see their former MVP back in action, as are the Astros.

It’s been a while since the Astros have been able to play with Altuve in their lineup.
However, they will get that chance tonight as the veteran second baseman makes his long-awaited return from the injured list.
For his career, Altuve owns a .307 batting average, has hit 192 home runs, posted a WAR of 46.5, and an OPS of .830.
The two-time World Series champion has won an MVP, a Gold Glove, three batting titles, six Silver Slugger Awards, and an ALCS MVP Award.
The hype video featured several tweet about Altuve that describe how truly impactful of a player he is and what he means to the City of Houston and the Astros organization.
Having him back should give the defending World Series champions a major boost as they try to overtake the Texas Rangers in the AL West.
