The New York Yankees have gotten off to a rough start in the ALCS.
After two games in the series, the Yankees trail 2-0 and look to be in serious trouble.
While both games were competitive, the bats of the Yankees have not shown up thus far.
New York has scored four runs in two games and has struggled to get a key hit when necessary.
So is this 0-2 deficit too much to overcome for the guys in pinstripes?
The one thing New York has going for them is that their best pitchers are set to take the mound in Games 3 and 4.
Going down 3-0 in a series, let alone one against the Astros, will be very tough to overcome.
Even though it has been done before in baseball, it is still unlikely to happen again.
That is why Cole must pitch great on Saturday and lead the Yankees to the win.

Ultimately, that is why the Yankees signed Cole to a massive contract to play in New York.
The Best From Their Ace
He was brought there to help them win the AL pennant and World Series and this is his chance to do so.
Also, it would be nice for New York if their bats wanted to wake up.
So far in this series, the Yankees have two players batting over .200.
In comparison, the Astros have five.
So no, the Yankees are not finished in the ALCS yet.
But, if Cole does not pitch well in Game 3 and the bats do not wake up they can kiss their hopes of a World Series goodbye.
