It’s officially the dawn of a new era for the Indianapolis Colts.
Rookie QB Anthony Richardson will start the season under center, and he continues to be a polarizing figure, even among the fans.
But as raw as he might be right now, there’s no denying that Richardson’s athleticism, arm strength, mobility, and speed are simply off the charts.
He put some of those traits on full display again in a clip shared by the Colts’ Twitter account, making a must-see throw despite being off balance and jumping.

Of course, one could argue that he should be working on his ball-placement, especially after completing just 54% of his passes in his lone year in college.
Also, the expectation is that he shouldn’t have to make those kinds of throws, granted that their offensive line improves and gives him some time to operate.
The criticism is valid, but the fans should still be excited about the fact that they have a true athlete that can do this kind of thing in his sleep.
Richardson drew rave reviews throughout the course of the NFL Draft process, with scouts in awe of his natural abilities.
But as high as his ceiling is, his floor also seems to be quite low if he doesn’t make better decisions.
There will be plenty of growing pains, and his rookie numbers may not look good at all.
But given enough time and patience, he could turn out to be a superstar.
