Monday night was not a great one for the Los Angeles Lakers.
Once again, the team faced off against a team that they could have beaten.
And once again, they didn’t succeed and suffered another embarrassing defeat.
This time it was the Portland Trail Blazers, the 11th team in the West, that took them down, 127-115.
Fans of the team were hanging their heads low after the loss – and so was Lakers superstar Anthony Davis.

Following the latest loss, Davis shocked his fans by deactivating his Instagram account, silencing himself on one of the most popular social media apps around.
This could be a huge coincidence and might not be related to the latest loss.
But some people are worried that Davis is quickly losing faith in his team.
If he is, no one could really blame him.
The Lakers are again the 13th team in the West and their tough beat in Portland doesn’t instill any confidence about the rest of the season.
Davis tried his hardest with 19 points and 20 rebounds but it wasn’t enough as the Blazers were firmly in control for the whole game.
Davis’ Instagram deactivation comes just days after more speculation about his feelings.
During LeBron James’ historic game last week, Davis looked glum and downtrodden.
He would later confess his frustration with the team’s lack of wins led to his defeated demeanor.
Is Davis thinking about leaving the Lakers if this season doesn’t turn around?
Most people agree he is going to stick with the team but if he does throw his hands in the air and demand a trade, there would be numerous teams eager to acquire him.
Maybe Davis just needs to disconnect from social media for a while and that’s why he closed his Instagram.
That’s what Lakers fans are hoping because the alternative is quite frightening for them.
