Things got a little dicey yesterday during the series finale between the Los Angeles Angels and Seattle Mariners.
After Mariners slugger Jesse Winker was hit by a 91-mph fastball, he began to approach the Angels dugout and immediately got into it with Anthony Rendon, who slapped him across the face.
The benches then cleared.
After the dust was settled, Winker had been ejected and shot two middle fingers at fans who were heckling him.
However, one player on the Angels side had an odd reaction.
Raisel Iglesias, Winker’s former teammate with the Cincinnati Reds, took the bucket full of sunflower seeds and threw it towards the Mariners dugout.
Ben Verlander of FOX Sports tweeted a video of the incident, expressing how much he enjoyed Iglesias’ sunflower seed toss.
I can’t stop watching this. The sunflower seed toss from Raisel Iglesias is by far the best part.

Projectile Sunflower Seeds
This was certainly the best part of the brawl.
It’s interesting that Iglesias was even ejected for it.
He was aiming for the Mariners dugout, but it landed well short of that, hitting the third base line instead.
Maybe the next time he wants to make a toss like that, he’ll go out a little farther to make sure he gets a little closer to his target.
But still, this was a hilarious scene and a great way for him to take out his frustration on the Mariners.
The only problem was where the bucket and the seeds landed.
Other than that, this was a legendary moment.
We may never see something like this again.
A player taking the bucket of sunflower seeds and throwing it towards the other dugout?
That’s some priceless entertainment for fans in all walks of life, whether they were in attendance or just simply watching the game.
