Years ago, not many people would say that Andy Reid was the best coach in the NFL.
He was always well-liked and respected, but his teams often fell short in the playoffs.
That’s why the Philadelphia Eagles eventually chose to part ways with him and let things run their course.
Now, he might be considered the greatest head coach of all-time.
However, when asked about his days with the Kansas City Chiefs, the coach says it’s all about the players.
Talking to Bill Belichick and Jim Gray on SiriusXM NFL Radio, the future Hall of Famer stated that he was fortunate to have the team that he has.
Chiefs HC Andy Reid: “I’m lucky to be in a position to have these guys.”

Reid has turned the Chiefs into one of the most dominant dynasties the game has ever seen.
With Patrick Mahomes at the helm, the team is now in a position to do something that has never been done before, not even by Belichick, Tom Brady, and the New England Patriots.
With a win against his former team, the Eagles, Reid will have won three consecutive Super Bowls.
That would also be his fourth Super Bowl win in five tries since he arrived at Arrowhead Stadium.
Needless to say, none of that would have been possible without his stars and his stellar coaching staff.
Likewise, he also deserves all the credit and praise that’s coming his way.
He will go down as the greatest offensive play-caller the game has ever seen.
He also has the responsibility of uplifting his players like no other coach has.
